3 New QEEE Minors Certificate Program Open

QEEE Minors is a certificate program offered to QEEE registered colleges. The current semester “QEEE Aug-Nov 2017” offered  3 Minors:

Minor	IIT Faculty
Data Sciences	Prof. Raghu
Signals Systems and Communications	Prof. Radha Krishna Ganti
Networking and Security	Prof. G. Venkatesh

Components of Minors:

A single session to explain the Project Activity is scheduled. The details on the problem statement, experiment procedure, auto evaluation process will be explained. Please note that all students can attempt the project activity to enhance the hands-on learning.

Each minor has coursework topics (offered in QEEE/MOOCs) and project activity (listed on qeee.in). Students are required to complete at least 6 of the mentioned coursework topics and the project activity to be eligible for the minor certification.

Coursework:

The lecture content and recorded videos are available in the Coursepack. The student can self-study or local faculty can conduct the sessions. Local faculty to conduct the Proctored Quiz and Proctored Assignment before the mentioned deadline. The coursework is considered as complete only when the student gets >50% in both Proctored Quiz and assignment.

Project Activity:

The project activity is designed to give a hands-on learning. Required guidelines will be given to the students through a scheduled live session. The practical’s can be attempted/completed before completing the coursework. Please note that it is not mandatory to complete the coursework and then take up project activity.The project activity alone can also be registered. The evaluation of practical’s is automated.

Enrollment for Minors:

On the registration page, click on the respective minor and register against the Project Activity.

We want the students to participate in large numbers as we can assure you that it would be interesting as well benefitting experience for students.

The colleges  to register to the mentioned topics/project activity and enroll the relevant students to the activity (normal csv process) as the project activity questions are specific to the student and the answers to be uploaded in their logins for auto evaluation process.

Fee:

Please note that there is no refundable deposit required for the registration.

Certification:

On the completion of a topic/project activity, a certificate for the completed topic/project activity is awarded to the student. On completion of at least 6 topics and project activity under the given Minor, the Minor certificate is awarded to the student.
