Department of Computer Science & Engineering of College of Engineering, Guindy is organizing an International Conference on Data Science Analytics and Applications (DaSAA 2016) with a view to provide a platform for Researchers, Engineers, Scientists and Academicians as well as Industrial Professionals all over the globe to present their innovative research ideas and developmental activities in the domain of Computer Science and Engineering. DaSAA 2016 is unique in itself due its focus on the recent developments in the Data Science Analytics and Applications, which will help the scientific community to exchange their experiences from their respective fields and to grow together.

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Data Science Analytics and Applications (DaSAA 2016), which will be held in College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai-25, INDIA, between 7th and 9th December, 2016, with pre-conference tutorial held on 6th December, 2016. The field of Data mining is a powerful new technology with great potential to help companies focus on the most important information in the data they have collected about the behavior of their customers and potential customers. It discovers information within the data that queries and reports can’t effectively reveal. The conference will provide an opportunity for practitioners, researchers, technologists and business leaders to exchange their ideas about the recent advances in data science analytic and application. Many experts from the field of data mining are the members of advisory & technical committees, and they provide their rich experience in organizing this conference.

About DCSE

Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DCSE), formerly known as School of Computer Science and Engineering, was carved out of the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering in September 1987. DCSE function as one of the University Department having academic autonomy of having its own syllabus and curriculum. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in various disciplines of Computer Science & Engineering. The Department functions under the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering. The Department imparts world class training and research. The Department provides state of the art computing facilities to the students. It also promotes active industry-institute collaboration by identifying areas of interest and taking part in sponsored research projects and consultancy services. Some of the major research areas which the faculty members and students working on are Networks, Database, Theoretical Computer Science, Multimedia, Image Processing, Software Engineering and Data Mining.

About Anna University

Anna University was established on 4th September 1978 as a unitary type of University. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and allied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society. Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities. Call For Papers

First International Conference on Data Science Analytics and Applications (DaSAA 2016) solicits papers in the areas of Data Science grouped under the various tracks (Track 1, Track 2, Track 3 and Track 4). The maximum allowable length of the paper is 10 pages (including figures and references) for research articles. Articles will be blindly reviewed by two experts to decide its suitability for publication in the conference. 

Accepted and registered papers will be published in conference proceeding. Waiting for Springer / Elsevier proceedings confirmation.
