Red Carpet to Indian Students to Work in UK

UK’s Minister for Science and Universities Jo Johnson said Indian students are welcome to study and work in Great Britain for it is a brain gain for UK.

During a visit to India for the ‘UK-India Year of Education, Research and Innovation for 2016’, he said, “The cream of British universities are here in India to showcase  UK as the place for study in higher education.”

“We are working closely with the Indian government to ensure that our systems of higher education, our universities and our scientists can collaborate to mutual advantage.”

“In the past 6 years, the value of scientific research collaboration with India, go from just one million pounds in 2008 to 200 million pounds today. The Newton Programme, a 50 million pound cooperation platform for science collaboration with India  will now run until 2021.”

“There is no better system in the world than the UK education system that offers better value for money  and people leave highly satisfied.”
