Google Launches Free Wi-Fi At 9 Railway Stations

Google’s proposed free Wi-Fi service for railway stations in India is now available at 10 stations across the country. ¬†Google launched the service earlier in the year with Mumbai central station.

After Mumbai Central, Google has launched its free high-speed public Wi-Fi service at nine more Indian railway stations:

  1. Pune
  2. Bhubaneshwar
  3. Bhopal
  4. Ranchi
  5. Raipur
  6. Vijayawada
  7. Kacheguda (Hyderabad)
  8. Ernakulam (Kochi)
  9. Visakhapatnam.

Google claims that the Wi-Fi is fast enough to allow streaming of HD videos.  Further, the company aims to expand the service to 100 stations by year end.
