Fifth Annual Conference of the Loyola Forum for Historical Research

LFHR (Loyola Forum for Historical Research) has completed four years of academic commitment quite successfully. The First Annual Congress was held on 5th and 6th March 2012, the Second from 28th February to 1st March 2013 and the Third on 13th and 14th February 2014 respectively. The Fourth Annual Congress which was organized between 12th and 13th February 2015 had the focus on “Intellectual History.” The Forum has been endeavoring to provide the necessary academic ambience for the professionals and researchers to share their perspectives.
THE CONFERENCE THEME:
NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON URBANISATION AND ENVIRONMENT
LFHR 2016 is a two-day multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary national conference that aims to provide an opportunity to bring together professors, researchers and motivated students of different disciplines, discuss new issues, and discover the most recent researches on the various aspects of Urbanisation: (inviting papers on)
- The planning of towns and cities
- Growth and development of towns and cities
- Urbanisation and water bodies
- The impact of multiculturalism upon metropolises
- Impact of urbanisation on environment
- Urbanisation and disasters, etc
While a historical perspective for the theme of conference is wide-ranging in itself, an interdisciplinary approach to the theme would certainly widen the scope further and all the more inclusive.
Abstracts of papers, not exceeding 250 words, typed in Times New Roman 12-point font-size, may be submitted on or before 06th April, 2016. The title of the paper may be in BOLD 14- point font-size and the name and institutional address of the participant (12 point font size) should appear just below the title.

Full text of the accepted abstracts, in MS Word with a word-limit of 6000 and abiding by the MLA Handbook (7th Edn), must be submitted on or before 09th June, 2016.
The soft-copies of the abstracts and papers may be sent to email@example.com and one hard-copy of the abstract and two hard-copies of the completed papers may be mailed by Speed post to:
