Scientists Create Nanoparticle Fertiliser

Ramesh Raliya and Pratim Biswas, two Indian-origin scientists at the Washington University have used nanoparticles in fertilisers to help increase farm output.

These fertilisers reportedly will be more eco-friendly than conventional fertilisers and will not add to the strain on existing natural resources.

The nanoparticles can also be fine-tuned to suit different conditions, the scientists said.
