India Ranked 24th in QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings

In the QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings (HESSR) 2016, India has been ranked 24th, as India scored a 60.9/100.

With a score of 98.5 out of 100, US has made it to the top, while UK and Germany have bagged position 2 and 3, respectively.

Top few colleges in India and their areas of expertise:

  • All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for medical courses, MBBS
  • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras for B.Tech, Under-graduation, science stream
  • Indian Institute of Management, Ahemadabad (IIM) for MBA courses, after completing Under-graduation
  • Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi (IIMC) for courses in Journalism and Mass Communication
  • National Law University, Bangalore (NLU) for career in Law
